Job description

We are seeking a creative and user-focused Sr. UI/UX Designer to design seamless, user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, and tablet platforms. This role will play a key part in shaping customer journeys and enhancing digital products that support users throughout their education lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Experience

  • Lead end-to-end design projects from concept to implementation
  • Create user-centered designs based on research and UX best practices
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Build interactive prototypes and deliver detailed design specifications
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Advocate for user needs across the organization

Design Systems & Standards

  • Contribute to and enhance design systems (Figma)
  • Maintain consistency across digital products
  • Document design patterns and reusable components
  • Apply systematic thinking to complex design challenges

Research & Strategy

  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends
  • Support usability testing, A/B testing, and design validation
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews and business discussions

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with product, engineering, research, and content teams
  • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards
  • Experience documenting complex design interactions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services or EdTech
  • Knowledge of design thinking methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience with conversion optimization or e-commerce
