Job description

Performs Level 4 software engineering activities supporting the migration of a software development network to an AWS GovCloud-based environment. Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines and development environments while collaborating daily with engineering teams to support secure, cloud-based software delivery., * Supports migration of software development infrastructure to AWS GovCloud environments

  • Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tooling
  • Configures and maintains development environments for cloud-based software delivery
  • Collaborates daily with engineering teams in an Agile environment
  • Troubleshoots pipeline and build issues across Linux-based systems
  • Implements and supports object-oriented software development in C++ and Python

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or other Engineering/Science-related discipline

  • 3+ years of AWS GovCloud experience

  • Level 4: BS+16 YRS or MS+14 YRS

  • 3+ years of GitLab experience in a pipeline environment

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ and Python

  • Linux-based software development experience

  • Artifactory expert

  • Jira expert

  • Nexus expert

  • Experience in object-oriented software development

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Preferred Skills

  • CMake experience

  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)

  • Experience with Jira workflows and Agile development processes

  • GitLab pipeline troubleshooting experience

  • Ada programming and testing experience

  • Green Hills compiler for Ada

  • AUnit unit testing framework experience

  • VectorCAST experience

  • CppUnit experience

  • Gcov/Gcovr experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with software estimation and Agile product development
