Job description
We are hiring a Field IT Technician to service, install, and troubleshoot vending, POS, and coin-operated machines across the Chicagoland area.
This is a route-based role requiring daily travel, multiple service stops, and independent work in the field. Candidates must be comfortable working on the road, handling equipment, and resolving issues without direct supervision., * Travel daily to client locations (up to 200-mile radius)
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of machines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues
- Manage 5-10+ service stops per day
- Load/unload equipment and handle physical installations
- Document work using ticketing or tracking systems
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on IT, field service, or hardware repair experience
- Previous route-based or field work (multiple locations per day)
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting (PCs, peripherals, or similar equipment)
- Comfortable with daily driving and independent work
- Ability to lift and move equipment regularly
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred (Strong Plus)
- Experience with vending machines, POS systems, or electromechanical equipment
- Cabling, installations, or low-voltage work
- Experience using ticketing/CRM systems
- Bilingual (Spanish)

Important Notes
This is a field-based role, not a remote or help desk position. Candidates must be comfortable spending the majority of the day on the road and working independently at client locations.
