IT PMO Manager

• Lead cross-functional IT and business technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget accountability
• Evolve PMO standards, methodologies, and templates to support a growing, project-based organization
• Mentor and support PMO project managers, providing guidance on delivery approach and issue resolution
• Facilitate collaboration across IT Services, Business Systems, field operations, corporate teams, and vendors
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needs
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting
• Enforce change management practices, including testing, documentation, communication, and stakeholder readiness
• Manage resources, budgets, priorities, and escalations across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation plans

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT or business application project management experience; project-based or construction environments preferred
• Experience mentoring project managers within a PMO
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
• Solid understanding of IT systems, software development, and change management
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills

Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000 Bonus: Discretionary Office Location: Chicago, IL Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO

This role drives end-to-end delivery across IT and business teams, ensures alignment with organizational standards, and mentors project managers within the PMO while scaling project management practices.
