Job description
- Lead cross-functional IT and business technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget accountability
- Evolve PMO standards, methodologies, and templates to support a growing, project-based organization
- Mentor and support PMO project managers, providing guidance on delivery approach and issue resolution
- Facilitate collaboration across IT Services, Business Systems, field operations, corporate teams, and vendors
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project needs
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting
- Enforce change management practices, including testing, documentation, communication, and stakeholder readiness
- Manage resources, budgets, priorities, and escalations across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of IT or business application project management experience; project-based or construction environments preferred
- Experience mentoring project managers within a PMO
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software development, and change management
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
