- Power Platform solution delivery Deliver client solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations.
- Power Apps development Design and develop Power Apps applications that support business workflows, improve data capture, and provide intuitive user experiences across different business roles.
- Workflow automation Automate business processes using Power Apps and Power Automate, including approvals, notifications, task routing, data updates, and downstream system interactions.
- Data visualization Support development of dashboards, reports, and visual outputs using Power BI and Power Platform components to improve business visibility and decision-making.
- Requirements and technical documentation Help create technical requirements, test scripts, design documentation, solution configuration notes, and functional documentation for new solutions and enhancements.
- Knowledge transfer and training Conduct end-user training and create knowledge transfer documentation to support user adoption, operational continuity, and long-term sustainment.
- Power Platform standards Develop, maintain, and refine Power Platform implementation standards, reusable components, governance practices, and delivery tools.
- Solution demonstrations Present tailored demonstrations of Power Platform solutions to show business value, usability, workflow automation, and rapid development capabilities.
- Agile delivery support Participate in daily scrum meetings, backlog discussions, sprint execution, status reporting, testing, defect resolution, and release readiness activities.
- Production support Work with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production support issues related to Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, integrations, user access, data connections, and performance.
- Platform currency Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates, release wave plans, roadmap capabilities, connectors, governance features, and emerging low-code development practices.
Requirements
NeevSys is seeking a Power Apps Developer to support a Guidehouse opportunity focused on Microsoft Power Platform solution delivery. The selected candidate will design, develop, configure, and support low-code business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and related Microsoft cloud technologies.
This role requires hands-on experience developing Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, a basic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications. The candidate will work with project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, testers, and support teams to deliver Microsoft Power Platform solutions that automate business processes, improve data visibility, and enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Minimum professional experience based on level: one year for Consultant level, three years for Senior Consultant level, or five years for Managing Consultant level.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor s degree required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Secret security clearance before onboarding, as required.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in McLean, VA, including onsite work up to five days per week based on client needs.
- Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience building low-code applications, automating workflows, and developing data visualization outputs.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Platform, custom development, and data integrations.
- Experience writing technical requirements, test scripts, and solution documentation.
- Knowledge of modern software technologies and software development concepts.
- Experience working in a Software as a Service environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical users.
- Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence and governance components., * Experience in a Big 4, major consulting firm, established systems integrator, or Microsoft Gold Partner environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience supporting public sector or federal clients.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery methodology.
- Active Secret or higher-level clearance.
- Microsoft Power Platform certification, such as PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting production applications, user training, adoption, and operational sustainment.
