Job description
The HR Technology Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems and applications for the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (CoE). The HR Technology Lead ensures that these systems and applications support the strategic goals and objectives of the organization and comply with the relevant laws and regulations.
How you will do it
- Execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap, aligning it with the organizational vision and priorities.
- Establish and enforce the HR technology policies, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead and supervise the HR technology team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate and communicate with other HR functions and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and support on HR systems and applications.
- Monitor and evaluate the HR technology trends and innovations, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
- Assist with tasks such as: gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototype demonstration, functional configuration, testing, and client user training as it relates to Workday and/or Service Now.
- Review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Anticipate business needs and formulate solutions to address those needs.
Requirements
- Degree in business or management information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Overall 4+ years of experience & minimum of four years of experience in HR technology.
- Experience managing a team.
- Workday and ServiceNow configuration experience is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and applications, such as payroll, benefits, talent management, learning management, etc.
- Proficient in project management, business analysis, and change management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems and deliver results.
- Demonstrated competence in presenting concepts clearly and accurately in written and verbal communication skills. Able to positively represent Johnson Controls and communicate with others at varying managerial and technical levels.
