E-Commerce Executive

We are looking for a practical, organised, and commercially minded E-Commerce Executive / Online Sales Assistant to help manage and grow our online sales.

This role is focused on creating strong product listings, improving online visibility, managing marketplace sales, supporting website content, and helping turn stock into completed sales.

You will be working across platforms such as eBay, our own website, WordPress/WooCommerce, and other online marketplaces. The right person will understand that good titles, strong photos, accurate descriptions, sensible pricing, SEO, and fast customer replies all directly affect sales.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in ecommerce, online selling, product listings, SEO, and customer communication.

Duties

• Create, upload, and manage product listings across eBay, websites, and online marketplaces
• Write clear, accurate, and sales-focused product descriptions
• Research keywords and improve listing titles for SEO and marketplace search
• Improve product pages to increase visibility, enquiries, and sales conversion
• Upload, organise, crop, and improve product images where required
• Monitor competitor listings, pricing, and product presentation
• Respond to customer enquiries quickly and professionally
• Help convert online enquiries into completed sales
• Keep listings updated when products are sold, reserved, unavailable, or changed
• Support the management of WordPress/WooCommerce websites
• Assist with basic SEO improvements across website pages and product listings
• Prepare and manage shipping labels where required
• Liaise with warehouse or dispatch staff regarding stock, packing, and deliveries
• Track sales, returns, refunds, customer messages, and stock movements
• Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets
• Support social media posts, promotions, email campaigns, and online advertising where required
• Review sales performance and suggest improvements to listings, pricing, and product presentation, A performance bonus may be available based on completed net sales, excluding returns, refunds, cancelled orders, and shipping adjustments. Bonus payments are calculated once sales are finalised.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Previous experience in ecommerce, online sales, eBay, marketplaces, or website product management

• Good written English and strong attention to detail
• Experience writing product descriptions or online sales content
• Understanding of SEO, keywords, listing titles, and search visibility
• Confident using computers, spreadsheets, email, and online platforms
• Able to manage multiple listings and customer messages at once
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
• Commercial mindset with a focus on increasing sales

Desirable Experience

• WordPress or WooCommerce experience
• Shopify or other ecommerce platform experience
• eBay seller experience
• Basic photo editing or Adobe Photoshop skills
• Google Analytics or Google Ads experience
• Social media content or marketplace promotion experience
• Experience with courier booking, shipping labels, or order processing
• B2B or trade sales experience

The successful candidate will be proactive, accurate, and commercially aware. You should be able to look at a product, create a strong online listing, improve how it appears in search, answer buyer questions, and help close the sale.
