Job description

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Senior E-Commerce Executive to join a growing international product-led business with an established online presence and ambitious growth plans.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely lives and breathes e-commerce - someone who enjoys improving website performance, creating content that converts, analysing what works (and what doesn’t), and helping drive online sales growth.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimise digital performance, improve customer journey and help shape the ongoing growth of the online channels.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and updating website content, product information and merchandising
  • Creating engaging copy and e-commerce content across online channels
  • Monitoring website performance and producing meaningful reports and recommendations
  • Supporting conversion optimisation and improving customer journey
  • Managing promotions, launches and seasonal trading activity
  • Supporting marketplace activity including Amazon and retail partner platforms
  • Working with internal stakeholders and external developers to improve website functionality
  • Monitoring competitor activity and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Supporting digital campaigns and wider online growth activity

Requirements

Do you have experience in Magento?, * Minimum 3 years’ practical experience within e-commerce, digital trading or online retail

  • Experience working within website content management platforms (Magento / Adobe Commerce beneficial, but Shopify, WooCommerce or similar considered)
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Experience reporting on website performance and making improvements from data insights
  • Confident using website analytics tools such as Google Analytics / GA4
  • Marketplace experience (Amazon Seller Central highly advantageous)
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Desirable:

  • Exposure to SEO, email marketing, PPC or CRM activity
  • Basic understanding of CMS functionality, HTML or e-commerce integrations
  • Experience within a product-led or consumer-focused environment

This role would suit someone who enjoys ownership, likes seeing the impact of their work and wants to join a business where ideas, initiative and commercial thinking are genuinely valued.

Practical experience and proven results are more important than formal qualifications.
