Job description

  • Develop aircraft state and aircraft systems monitoring applications for next-generation avionics platforms.
  • Perform systems integration and verification activities.
  • Develop, validate, integrate, and verify system and software requirements.
  • Support model-based system design using Simulink (preferred).
  • Develop ARINC 661 graphics using SCADE (preferred).
  • Integrate and interface with aircraft sensors, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS.
  • Integrate and interface with aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC.

Requirements

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will support the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems Monitoring and Synoptics applications hosted on a next-generation avionics platform. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering or Computer Science degree along with experience in avionics, embedded systems, model-based systems engineering, and aircraft systems integration., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • Experience with systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Experience with avionics systems.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience working with DO-160 qualification and EMI competency.
  • Experience with aircraft sensors, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS.
  • Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems.
  • Experience using Simulink for model-based design (preferred).
  • Experience developing ARINC 661 graphics using SCADE (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Aircraft State monitoring applications.
  • Experience with Aircraft Systems Monitoring and Synoptics applications.
  • Experience working on next-generation avionics platforms.
  • Experience integrating multiple aircraft subsystems into avionics applications.

W2 Contract - 6 months with possible extensions! Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Pay Rate: $63.50 - $68.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)
