- Develop, integrate, and verify aircraft-state and aircraft-systems monitoring and synoptics applications.
- Develop, validate, integrate, and verify systems and software requirements.
- Support model-based system design, preferably using Simulink.
- Develop ARINC 661 graphics, preferably using SCADE.
- Work with sensors used for aircraft positioning and navigation, including air data, AHRS, and GPS.
- Integrate or interface with aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC.
- Plan and accomplish assigned goals using experience and professional judgment.
- Perform a variety of technical tasks and potentially lead or direct the work of others.
- Apply creativity and independent judgment when addressing technical challenges.
Requirements
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will support the development, systems integration, and verification of core aircraft-state and aircraft-systems monitoring and synoptics applications hosted on a next-generation avionics platform.
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering or Computer Science degree and demonstrated experience with DO-160 qualification, electromagnetic interference (EMI), model-based systems engineering, avionics, and embedded systems., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Experience with DO-160 qualification and EMI competency.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering.
- Experience with avionics and embedded systems.
- Experience in systems or software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Simulink for model-based system design.
- Experience with SCADE for ARINC 661 graphics development.
- Experience with air data, AHRS, or GPS sensors.
- Experience integrating aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, or FADEC.
- Ability to lead or direct the work of others.
