Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - 30089_M

• Develop, integrate, and verify aircraft state monitoring and aircraft systems applications for advanced avionics platforms.
• Support systems and software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification activities.
• Create and maintain model-based system designs using Simulink or similar tools.
• Develop and support avionics graphical interfaces utilizing ARINC 661 standards and SCADE tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and certification activities.
• Support qualification testing, including DO-160 environmental testing and EMI/EMC compliance efforts.
• Interface with aircraft sensors and systems, including:
• Air Data Systems
• AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference Systems)
• GPS Navigation Systems
• Flight Controls
• Landing Gear Systems
• Cabin Pressure Systems
• FADEC and Engine Control Systems
• Participate in system verification, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.

This is a high-priority opportunity for an experienced systems engineer with strong avionics expertise, particularly in DO-160 qualification testing, EMI/EMC compliance, and model-based systems engineering.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science and a proven background in avionics systems development, integration, and verification within aerospace environments., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

• Experience with aircraft avionics systems development and integration.
• Strong background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with DO-160 qualification testing and environmental compliance.
• Experience with EMI/EMC testing and certification activities.
• Knowledge of avionics architectures and embedded systems.
• Experience developing or validating systems/software requirements.
• Familiarity with Simulink or comparable model-based development tools.
• Experience integrating aircraft sensors and navigation systems., * Experience with ARINC 661 graphics development.
• Experience using SCADE development tools.
• Knowledge of aircraft system interfaces and monitoring applications.
• Experience supporting certification and verification programs within aerospace environments.
