Job description

  • Support Tier 3 Helpdesk tickets, diagnosing and resolving end-user issues, escalating tickets as needed to other organizations. Track and ensure timely closeout of tickets, generate and provide weekly ticketing reports.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions, monitor and notify users of account expiration in accordance with Cyber policies.
  • Support application testing, run test scripts and record test results using standard test plans.
  • Support COTS application upgrades in virtual Microsoft Windows Environments and Oracle Database Management System (DBMS).
  • Support Cybersecurity related activities for ATO renewal, Risk Assessment and system security reviews.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Helpdesk experience providing technical support to end-users and resolving technical issues for web-based applications supporting DoD or federal agencies.
  • 2-5 years of Identify and Access Management (IAM) experience creating application accounts and provisioning accounts against Active Directory, setting up role based access and permissions.
  • 1-3 years of testing experience for enterprise web-based applications and knowledge of full lifecycle testing to include unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting deployment, configuration, maintenance and upgrade for enterprise COTS software assets.
  • Experience supporting Cybersecurity initiatives and knowledge of ATO, Risk Assessment and security reviews.
  • Experience working in a small team of IT professional providing services in systems operations, administration, configuration management, enhancements, maintenance, and development.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Will consider an associate’s degree with demonstrated work experience.
  • Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linus (RHEL), Apache
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS); Active
  • Security + Certification
  • Windows based Application Servers
  • Applications hosted in a virtualized environment
  • ATO, ACAS scans, SCAP scans, DISA STIGs
