Job description
Are you a strong content creator who wants more ownership over the purpose, messaging and performance of your work?, We’re recruiting for a growing, technology-led business looking for a Content & Conversion Specialist to join its marketing team. This is a varied role combining copywriting, campaign content and visual content creation, with a clear focus on engagement, lead generation and conversion.
You’ll create content across websites, landing pages, blogs, email campaigns, promotional materials, editorials, leaflets and wider campaign assets. But this role is about more than producing good copy. You’ll be expected to think about who the content is for, what it needs to achieve, what the hook is and what action you want the audience to take.
The role
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team, you’ll take ownership of content across multiple channels and audiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing persuasive copy for websites, landing pages, blogs, emails, campaigns, advertisements and sales materials
- Creating content for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Developing messaging that supports lead generation, nurture campaigns and customer conversion
- Producing SEO-friendly website and blog content
- Creating promotional materials, editorials and patient-facing content
- Supporting email campaigns and automated customer journeys
- Reviewing content performance and using insight to improve engagement and conversion
- Producing and adapting visual assets using Canva or similar tools
- Making informed decisions around layouts, fonts, text hierarchy, spacing and visual consistency
- Managing content libraries and keeping marketing materials organised and up to date
- Working with colleagues across the business to gather information, develop ideas and deliver campaigns
Requirements
You’ll already have experience in copywriting, content marketing or a similar role and be confident adapting your writing for different audiences, channels and objectives., You don’t need to be an experienced graphic designer, but you will need a good eye for design and confidence using Canva or similar tools.
We’re particularly interested in people who are:
- Proactive and comfortable bringing forward ideas
- Commercially curious and interested in what makes people take action
- Strong communicators who can work with different teams and stakeholders
- Organised and able to manage several priorities at once
- Comfortable receiving feedback and refining work quickly
- Interested in measuring how content performs, rather than simply delivering it
- Detail-focused with excellent written English
Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, CRM platforms, email automation or content performance reporting would be useful, but not essential.
