Job description

Contributing to the design and development of Python applications and microservices
Building and integrating APIs to connect systems and enable data flow
Supporting the deployment and management of applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Writing and maintaining clean, well-tested code that follows best practices
Collaborating with team members across engineering, architecture and operations
Participating in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Supporting the optimization of data pipelines and data quality processes

Requirements

What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Solid proficiency in Python programming
Working knowledge of APIs, microservices and RESTful architecture
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Understanding of CI/CD principles and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Version control experience (Git or similar)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice-to-have

AWS Certified Developer - Associate or equivalent cloud certification
PCEP, PCAP or PCPP Python programming certifications
Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, React or Java / Spring Boot
Knowledge of distributed systems architecture
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
Experience with Linux and Windows environments
Scripting experience (Bash or similar)
