Job description
This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Python Developer contract roles in Bristol. Positions of this type could sit within fast-paced technical teams delivering cloud-native solutions, working across platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. You could be involved in developing scalable backend systems, integrating with microservices architectures, and contributing to continuous delivery pipelines that support modern software development practices., * Designing and developing Python applications, APIs and microservices
- Contributing to the architecture and delivery of distributed systems
- Writing and maintaining clean, testable code with a focus on quality and best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Supporting CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation
- Troubleshooting technical issues and optimising application performance
- Documenting code, processes and technical decisions for team knowledge
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python with demonstrable commercial experience
- Experience with APIs, microservices and distributed systems
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- AWS Certified Developer - Associate, PCAP - Certified Associate in Python, or PCPP - Certified Professional in Python
- Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, React, Java or Spring Boot
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Background in data pipelines or data quality
- Experience with Power BI or other analytics tools
