Job description
Contribute to the planning and organization of health information content for technology development. Integrate health information management knowledge and experience to optimize operations through process improvement. Develop, structure and edit health record documentation and clinical documentation to ensure data integrity and to ensure data is securely protected.
This role offers a hybrid work option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.
Requirements
Required:
Associate Degree
One of: RHIA or RHIT Must obtain Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential within 6 months of hire.
Desired:
One year in a healthcare setting
Bachelor Degree
Registered Health Information Administrator OR Registered Health Information Technician
