Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Integration Leader to join a premium automotive brand. This role is pivotal in driving the development of new and existing vehicle architectures, ensuring the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies. The successful candidate will act as the technical arbitrator, delivering engineering solutions that align with functional and attribute targets while maintaining a customer-first mindset., As a Vehicle Integration Leader, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the integration and delivery of engineering solutions for the entire vehicle, ensuring alignment with GRID, commodity/system strategies, and functional targets.
  • Drive functional integration to minimize complexity and deliver efficient technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Vehicle Attribute Robustness team to embed design quality, service, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage vehicle technical data progression, including CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test, and Releasing, in collaboration with group and interfacing team leads.
  • Ensure the delivery of Minimum Viable Product into both virtual and physical verification and validation phases throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Resolve cross-group obstacles and escalate technical blockers or incompatibilities to leadership as required.
  • Support study and Agile spike activities to address complex engineering challenges., Day-to-Day Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the technical leader and arbitrator for vehicle integration.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical solutions.
  • Driving the progression of technical data and ensuring timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Resolving technical challenges and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including program group leads, engineering directors, and external partners, to develop and deliver strategic technical proposals.

Requirements

  • Extensive automotive technical knowledge and experience with complex interactions, technical analysis, and decision-making.
  • Advanced understanding of automotive technology, including vehicle, system, and component design, development, and delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in leading teams to resolve complex technical issues using structured approaches such as 8D or Six Sigma.
  • Project management experience in delivering against complex program technical deliverables.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering personalized, transparent, and dependable experiences.
  • A progressive and innovative approach, with an interest in new ideas and industry developments.
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and the ability to champion them in practice.
  • Resilience, strong influencing skills, and the ability to build credibility and trust.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

Benefits & conditions
