Job description

We are looking for a Reading Berkshire based enthusiastic Software Developer to join our team building and enhancing our market-leading product.

About the Role:

If you’re successful, you’ll join our small team. Typical development tasks include building new features, re-factoring existing code and fixing bugs.

Good communication skills are required for various joint ventures,

Our developers work across the entire stack; front-end(Java, TypeScript with React/Angular), backend(Java) and database (MySQL/MongoDB). In addition, we use AWS/Azure for DevOps and hosting.

We use a Scrum methodology, with everyone in the development team operating as testers, configurations and reviewers for each other. You will work closely with other areas of the business team such as business analysts and projects managers - contributing to the refinement of user requirements, roadmap planning, and helping to continually improve the software and our processes.

Requirements

A good understanding of Java and Typescript is essential. Understanding of other technologies listed above would be beneficial.
