Job description

Sierra Safety is seeking an experienced Business Systems & IT Administrator to lead the administration, development, and continuous improvement of our monday.com platform while managing the organization’s IT systems and technology infrastructure.

This role will own the strategy, implementation, and optimization of monday.com as Sierra Safety’s central operating platform. Working closely with leadership, this individual will design scalable workflows, automate business processes, improve reporting, and support the technology that powers our office and field operations. In addition to owning monday.com, this position will oversee critical IT systems, cloud infrastructure, network administration, cybersecurity, and business applications to ensure a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment., * Serve as the owner and primary administrator of Sierra Safety’s monday.com platform by designing, building, and maintaining boards, dashboards, workspaces, automations, forms, permissions, templates, and reporting.

  • Develop scalable workflows supporting Recruiting, Operations, Safety, Compliance, Project Management, HR, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Build integrations between monday.com and Microsoft 365, Outlook, DocuSign, QuickBooks, Procore, and other business applications.
  • Create executive dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership.
  • Lead platform adoption through employee training, documentation, and ongoing support.

  • Manage the company’s IT systems, infrastructure, cloud services, and business applications.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Design, implement, and optimize secure network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and managed service providers to ensure reliable service delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, procedures, network architecture, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor system health and proactively identify performance, security, and compliance risks.
  • Respond to IT incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Ensure IT systems support regulatory and customer compliance requirements while protecting sensitive company and client data.
  • Lead IT systems implementation projects from planning through deployment.
  • Assess business needs and recommend scalable technology solutions.
  • Manage enterprise technology projects, system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration or Business Systems Administration.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering monday.com in a business environment.
  • Proven experience designing and building monday.com workflows, automations, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
  • Strong understanding of networking, including switches, routers, wireless access points, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience managing Windows servers and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, user provisioning, identity management, and endpoint management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across business departments.
