Job description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to lead the scaling, optimisation, and management of our cloud infrastructure in support of advanced AI frameworks and complex workflow automation platforms. In this role, you will manage robust containerised systems and drive our architectural evolution across container orchestration platforms, ensuring high availability and reliable performance for production AI workloads. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build automation-first solutions that align with our engineering standards., * Manage, optimise, and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Automate complex operational tasks through scripting to minimise manual overhead and enhance system reliability.
- Implement and refine robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate the delivery of AI-facing applications and services.
Workflow and orchestration platforms
- Support and optimise enterprise workflow automation and orchestration platforms.
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure containerised environments across AWS ECS and EKS to dynamically match application demands.
Reliability and performance
- Monitor system health, application performance, and concurrency metrics to guarantee high availability during peak traffic periods.
- Identify risks in infrastructure and workflow reliability early, and act before they escalate., * Competitive hourly compensation and high operational autonomy.

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or CloudOps roles.
- Proven experience deploying and managing infrastructure for LLM architectures, AI agent frameworks, or AI-facing applications.
- Hands-on production experience with cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and workflow orchestration engines such as n8n or Temporal.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of containerisation technologies, including ECS, along with networking fundamentals.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with EKS, Helm charts, and cluster autoscaling mechanisms.
- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs, OpenAPI standards, and authentication protocols including OAuth and SAML.
