Job description
We are seeking a Solutions Architect - someone with the combination of both Business and Technical Architecture skills to help bridge business strategy and technology implementation. Position offers flexible remote work options while supporting collaboration with our team and partners.
The Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA) is seeking a versatile professional who can quickly understand our mission, operations, and strategic priorities-and partner with our technical team to complete the implementation of a modern Salesforce CRM platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, translating needs across teams, driving alignment, and guiding decision-making at both technical and executive levels.
As PFNCA accelerates its digital transformation, this position will shape how we deliver programs, engage members, and strengthen our operational foundation. You will serve as the key link between business operations, technology partners, and leadership-ensuring clarity, momentum, and high-quality execution throughout the Salesforce implementation and beyond., * Develop a deep understanding of PFNCA’s programs, member management, nonprofit operations, and strategic goals.
- Serve as primary business lead supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate the solution meets business requirements, and operates intuitively.
- Facilitate collaboration across internal teams, external vendors, and executive leadership.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies; ensure timely communication, change management activities, and issue resolution.
- Help ensure that technology decisions strengthen member experience, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with nonprofit organizations, preferably in program delivery, membership, or community-based services.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce, ideally including Nonprofit Cloud / Agentforce Nonprofit, NPSP, or CRM implementations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams and executives, including the ability to guide decision-making.
- Ability to support or coordinating social media communications, digital engagement, or content workflows.
- A proactive, resourceful, and mission-driven mindset.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or Nonprofit Management is appropriate and preferred for qualified candidates.
- 5+ years of experience preferred in roles such as nonprofit business operations and program management, CRM or Salesforce administration/implementation; technical project coordination.
