Job description

We’re hiring Test Coordinators to support upcoming SAT administrations at a test center in Santa Clara and San Francisco. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income while supporting students on an important testing day.

No prior SAT testing experience is required - full training will be provided.

This is also a great opportunity to join our future SAT testing staff pool. Staff who perform well and remain in good standing may be invited to support additional SAT administrations in Fall and Winter 2026, with continued opportunities expected through 2028 based on site needs and future testing schedules.

Schedule & Availability

You do not need to be available for every date listed below. We understand schedules vary, and we are still flexible. Candidates will be asked to share which dates they are available for, and assignments will be made based on site needs, role fit, and availability.

Candidates will be assigned to one test center location only. You will not be expected to work at multiple locations for the same administration., As a Test Coordinator, you will provide end-to-end SAT weekend test administration support at the assigned Long Beach test center. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing test-day operations in accordance with applicable testing protocols while helping ensure a secure, standardized, and well-organized testing environment., * Plan and execute SAT weekend testing operations at the assigned site

  • Coordinate and direct on-site testing personnel to support test administration activities
  • Conduct site readiness checks, including room setup, signage, technology, accessibility, and security requirements
  • Manage receipt, setup, secure storage, tracking, and return of all testing materials and equipment according to security protocols
  • Manage supplies and posters inventory
  • Lead staff check-in and on-site training
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for staff, students, and parents/guardians
  • Oversee student check-in and confirm testing room compliance
  • Ensure testing materials are properly distributed, collected, reconciled, and returned after the administration
  • Complete required post-administration reports and documentation

Operational Timeline

Training Day / Day Before Test

The Test Coordinator will help prepare the site for a successful administration by completing or supporting the following:

  • Complete Wi-Fi readiness checks and room capacity verification
  • Oversee proctor supply kit assembly, facility poster setup, and technology walkthroughs
  • Conduct staff check-in, including ID verification, WhatsApp enrollment, and Testing Staff Agreement confirmation
  • Lead on-site staff training covering roles, room setup, testing procedures, and escalation protocols
  • Finalize room assignments, run Auto-Setup, and confirm training completion

Test Day

On test day, the Test Coordinator will serve as the primary onsite lead and help ensure a smooth, compliant, and organized administration. Responsibilities include:

  • Check in all staff, verify IDs, assign roles, and support TDTK access
  • Brief staff on the schedule, timeline, and communication protocols
  • Open the facility and monitor technology checks in each testing room
  • Support student check-in, manage ID discrepancies, and respond to family questions
  • Confirm all testing rooms begin on time and remain compliant
  • Actively monitor testing operations throughout the administration
  • Support proctors, manage escalations, review timesheets, collect loaner devices, and assist with irregularity reports
  • Complete site audit, administration audit, final reporting, and facility wrap-up, After the administration, the Test Coordinator will complete required reporting and closeout activities, including:
  • Review and approve all staff vouchers
  • Verify hours and role assignments match actual test-day assignments
  • Ensure vouchers are submitted before the payment processing deadline
  • Upload KPIs and staffing summary to the required reporting channel
  • File site-level audit report, including staffing coverage, logistics, challenges, and lessons learned
  • File Irregularity Reports summary, if applicable
  • Meet with Raise leadership to debrief the administration
  • Flag issues, challenges, and operational wins
  • Discuss staff performance for promotion pipeline and future assignments

Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable leading a team, and able to manage time-sensitive operations in a structured environment., * Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a time-sensitive environment
  • Comfortable giving direction to staff and supporting onsite operations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using basic technology, mobile apps, and online systems
  • Ability to follow standardized testing protocols and maintain confidentiality
  • Prior experience in education, testing, event coordination, operations, hospitality, or team leadership is helpful, but not required

Requirements

  • Must be available for assigned training and test-day responsibilities
  • Must be able to complete all required training before the administration
  • Must have access to a smartphone for required communication tools
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and remain active during test-day operations
  • Must be able to follow security and compliance procedures exactly as instructed

About the company

Compensation covers all required responsibilities across the administration, including:

  • Pre-administration prep and coordination - approximately 5 hours
  • Training with Program Trainer - approximately 4 hours
  • In-person TD-1 staff training and facility setup - approximately 8 hours
  • Onsite leadership and oversight on test day - approximately 8-11 hours
  • Post-administration documentation and reporting - approximately 2 hours
