Job description

Our client’s are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote IEP Writer to join their educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to student success by creating precise, compliant, and actionable educational plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional design skills, experience in curriculum development, and a passion for supporting inclusive education through effective documentation., * Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to gather relevant student information and educational goals.

  • Develop clear, detailed, and compliant IEP documents aligned with state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) models to structure IEP content effectively.
  • Incorporate appropriate accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring strategies within each plan.
  • Ensure all IEPs are consistent with curriculum standards and reflect best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently using project management tools to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning technology platforms such as LMS (Learning Management Systems) and SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) standards.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions for educators on IEP development and related topics.
  • Use Adobe Captivate or similar tools for content development when necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure understanding of IEP components and implementation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree - required
  • Experience with IEPS - required
  • Special Education Certification - required

Benefits & conditions

$40 - $45 an hour - Part-time, Contract
