Job description

Hardware replacement of Cisco 6840-X switch with Cisco 9500 series
Decommission existing switch and install the new device
Cable identification, labeling, and reconnection
Ensure proper power-up and provide console access if needed
Coordinate with remote network team during the activity

Requirements

CCNA-certified resource (preferred), or strong L1 network technician for hands-and-eyes support
3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly with Cisco switches

Engagement Details:

One-time activity (not ongoing)
Planned over a weekend change window
