24hr Service Desk & CCTV Monitoring Operator

• 1st Line Support: Handle, log, and escalate inbound calls regarding customer CCTV, Intruder, and Fire systems.
• Perimeter Security & Monitoring: Conduct 1st line CCTV perimeter monitoring and validate fuel court ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) detection.
• Unmanned Fuel Station Oversight: Manage operational health, safety, and customer transaction monitoring to safely authorize fuel sales.
• Technical Support: Provide 1st line technical troubleshooting to retail customers managing Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Technical Administration: Execute system updates, routine housekeeping, and initial fault-finding protocols., * This role is based in our Romford Control Room and involves a rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays. How do you plan to get to and from the site for a 11pm or 6am start, specifically when public transport might not be running?
• Imagine you are monitoring an unmanned fuel station at 3am. You spot a potential safety hazard on the CCTV-perhaps a customer smoking near a pump. What steps would expect need to be taken?
• You will be handling 1st line support. If a customer calls up frustrated because a pump isn’t authorising and they are in a rush, how do you handle that call?
• We use several different software platforms for CCTV, Alarms, and Fuel Authorisation. When you have used new computer systems in the past, how did you go about learning them?
• You have a site where the intruder alarm has gone off three times in the last hour. Each time you check the cameras, the site looks empty. How do you handle the fourth alarm?

We are seeking a dedicated Control Room Service Desk & CCTV Monitoring Operator to join our team based in Romford. In this vital role, you will be the frontline support managing 1st line customer service, perimeter security, and health and safety monitoring. A key part of your daily responsibilities will include the critical oversight of customer transaction monitoring for unmanned fuel stations-facilitating two-way communication, authorizing fuel sales, and ensuring the absolute safety and integrity of site operations.

No direct experience in fuel monitoring? No problem.
