Job description
Primarily responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the clinical application interfaces. Troubleshoots desktops/hardware/printer issues. What You’ll Do
- Supports the end-user community in the effective access and use of University Hospital.
- Monitors and troubleshoots HL7 Protocol Application interfaces.
- Performs basic hardware repair.
- Assists with the preparation of documentation and informational materials for non-technical users
- Understands and accepts the responsibilities of working in a 24/7 environment.
- Provides tier 1 support for Clinical Application, and other ancillary systems.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- One (1) year of experience in use or support of desktop computing
- Must be proficient in PC support and be able to work in a team environment.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Equivalent experience, education, and/or training (IT certifications) may be substituted for the education requirements.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law) In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is PS/24S: Min. $68,627.00 Mid. $82,592.00 Max. $98,305.00 per year. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
