Job description
As a lead DevOps cloud engineer within the Commercial Lines Strategic Planning & Architecture team, you will drive the design, automation, and support of modern cloud platforms that accelerate the delivery of business solutions. Working closely with technology and business partners, you will lead initiatives focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, platform engineering, and emerging technologies including AI. This highly collaborative role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, and hands-on engineering, while also providing opportunities to mentor team members, champion best practices, and continuously improving the organization’s cloud capabilities.
This is a remote position for US-based work only with occasional travel to the Cleveland, OH area for meetings and/or training.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
- In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
Preferred skills
- Solid experience deploying and managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments using GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Experience with IaC such as Terraform, including building reusable modules and repeatable infrastructure patterns across Azure environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, data, and integration services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, service connections, pipeline identities, and self-hosted agents.
- Ability to design, automate, secure, and support scalable cloud infrastructure that improves reliability and efficiency., Sponsorship for work authorization for foreign national candidates is not available for this position.
