Senior IT Project Manager (Enterprise Applications)

We’re seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead large, enterprise-wide technology initiatives for a prestigious university in Boston. This role is ideal for a senior project manager who excels at managing complex cross-functional projects, partnering with executive stakeholders, and delivering large IT implementations from planning through execution.

This is a 12-month contract with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite each week.

What You’ll Do

• Lead multiple enterprise IT projects from initiation through implementation
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders
• Drive projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and executive communications
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and remove project roadblocks
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience managing large, enterprise-level technology projects
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed organizations
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• MS Project
• Smartsheet
• Jira
• ServiceNow
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, * Experience leading implementations involving:
• ERP systems
• CRM platforms
• Cloud migrations
• Enterprise applications
• Data integration initiatives
• Knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM)
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
• Higher education experience is a plus, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification preferred, * How many years of IT Project Management experience do you have?
