Job description

We’re looking for a passionate Software Developer to design, build and maintain secure, scalable applications using modern technologies including React, .NET and Azure. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with Product, QA, DevOps and UX teams to deliver high-quality solutions that make a real impact. What you’ll do

  • Design, develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable and well-tested code using modern development practices.
  • Contribute to solution architecture, API design and technical decision-making.
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimise performance and improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Champion secure coding, code quality and continuous improvement.
  • Support knowledge sharing, mentoring and the ongoing development of engineering best practice.

Requirements

  • Experience developing applications using React, .NET and Azure (or strong experience in relevant specialisms).
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design principles and modern development practices.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, Git and Agile delivery.
  • Experience writing automated tests and applying CI/CD practices.
  • Understanding of secure coding principles and application security (OWASP).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with GraphQL, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) or YAML pipelines.
  • Experience contributing to architecture and technical design.
  • A passion for mentoring, continuous learning and improving engineering practices., You’ll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment. You’ll care about writing high-quality code, continuously improving how things are done, and helping others succeed while delivering software that is secure, reliable and scalable.
