Job description

  • Testing, Quality assurance and CI/CD - building and maintaining units, integration and functional tests while applying TDD/BDD principles.

  • You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements and business needs into technical specifications.

  • You’ll resolve complex technical issues, balance feature delivery with technical debt and ensure smooth deployments. You’ll monitor performance, analyse logs/metrics and troubleshoot production issues while improving observability through better monitoring, logging and alerting.

  • You’ll improve code efficiency, optimise database queries and enhance infrastructure performance to ensure scalability and responsiveness.

  • You’ll maintain up to date and accurate documentation or systems, processes and APIs while contributing to shared knowledge bases. Actively participate in guilds, peers chapters and lunch and learn sessions, supporting a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Requirements

  • You’ll be a developer with a full stack background able to work from specialised code or specifications and user requirements.

  • Using DevOps tools for source control, branching, deployment and CI/CD integration.

  • Understanding the full-stack tech stack in use (React, .NET, Azure), unless agreed to be specialised in one area.

Writing, testing, and reviewing clean, reusable code using OOP and functional programming principles.

Understanding database design and interaction (SQL and NoSQL).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.

Knowledge of secure coding practices and ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities (OWASP).

API design (REST/GraphQL), SDLC processes, and Operating Model (Desirable).

Configuring CI/CD pipelines with YAML or tools like GitHub Actions/GitLab (Desirable, unless in DevOps-heavy role).
