Job description
Kentro is hiring for two experienced ServiceNow Senior System Administrators with a focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM) for Kentro’s VA ESOM - End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. In this role, you will plan and execute System Administrative tasks with a specialized focus on ServiceNow ITOM products including Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping. You will manage CMDB data quality, oversee integrations with federal and cloud environments, and serve as a technical authority for ITOM platform operations., * Plan and execute System Administrative tasks related to ServiceNow ITOM platform operations, with a focus on Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, and Service Mapping.
- Manage and maintain CMDB data quality, CI lifecycle, and data governance in alignment with ITIL v4 guidelines and federal standards.
- Configure and maintain MID Servers, Service Graph Connectors (e.g., SolarWinds, vCenter, AWS, Azure, SCCM), and REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Develop and manage data transformation practices and integration frameworks to support platform health and accuracy.
- Monitor ITOM platform performance, proactively identify issues, and drive resolution in coordination with infrastructure and cloud teams.
- Oversee user management, group and role administration, and access control configurations in compliance with federal security requirements.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation for ITOM operations.
- Support change management processes for platform updates, modifications, and patching activities.
- Coordinate with architects and developers on CMDB configuration standards, identification and reconciliation (IRE), and CSDM alignment., * Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

- If you do not currently meet the ID requirements outlined, you must be willing and able to update your current forms of ID in a timely manner to complete the suitability process successfully.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline required.
- 5+ years of total relevant experience as a System Administrator.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM products (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration, Service Mapping).
- Proven background in managing CMDB, integrations, and data governance within large-scale or federal environments.
- Experience with Service Graph Connectors (e.g., SolarWinds, vCenter, AWS, Azure, SCCM).
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP API integrations, MID Server configuration, JavaScript, and data transformation practices.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Configuration, Problem, and Asset Management., * ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM or CMDB.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Active federal security clearance or Public Trust.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery Patterns and Credential Management at federal scale.
- Exposure to Federal Government IT system management and cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow CMDB Health Dashboards, Identification Reconciliation Engine (IRE), and CSDM standards.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 - $120,000 annually.
