Maxio Systems Administrator Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced Maxio Systems Administrator Consultant to support the administration, optimization, and enhancement of its Maxio environment (formerly SaaSOptics/Chargify). This consultant will be responsible for improving billing and revenue workflows, supporting integrations, resolving system issues, and ensuring overall data integrity across the platform., * Administer, configure, and optimize the Maxio platform.

• Review and enhance billing, subscription management, invoicing, and revenue workflows.
• Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and operational inefficiencies.
• Validate data integrity across customers, subscriptions, invoices, and revenue schedules.
• Support integrations between Maxio and ERP, CRM, payment processing, and reporting systems.
• Implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and best practices.
• Provide support to finance, accounting, operations, and customer success teams on Maxio-related matters.
• Analyze existing system configurations and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Manage user administration, security settings, permissions, and audit reviews.
• Assist with reporting and dashboard development.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience within SaaS or subscription-based organizations and have a deep understanding of recurring billing, subscription management, revenue recognition, and financial systems., * 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Maxio, SaaSOptics, and/or Chargify.

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue operations.
• Experience with subscription billing, invoicing, collections, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and perform complex data analysis.
• Experience supporting integrations with ERP and CRM platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment., * Background in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or business systems administration.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience with API integrations, workflow automation, and data migrations.
• CPA, CMA, Accounting, Finance, or related business systems experience is a plus.
