Job description

The Recruiter / Staffing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process from start to finish., * Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.

  • Source and attract candidates using various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct interviews to assess applicants’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer extension.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks and reference verification.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Prepare and present recruitment reports to management, providing insights into hiring trends and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, clients, and external agencies.
  • Stay informed about the latest recruiting trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities to promote the company and attract talent.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment practices, employment law, and interview techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software.
  • Experience working with diverse talent pools and understanding different industries is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • Must be able to use personal vehicle for commuting to client locations. Mileage is provided.
