Do you enjoy working with unique software in the field of robotics automation? Are you ready to be the link between the software department and the client, testing the developed software both in-office and onsite? Would you like to be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team with varied tasks? If so, we have an exciting job for you! Our software department is responsible for developing our unique PlateButler software package as well as implementing it in our product line. Due to growth, LAB Services is looking to expand the software team. The job As PlateButler Application Specialist you are responsible for implementing LAB Services’ software in laboratory automation both domestically and internationally. Additionally, you provide technical software support within our company and for clients. The Application Specialist reports all activities to the software manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing and testing PlateButler and third-party software on client systems.
- Creating workflows in PlateButler software and implementing them on client systems.
- Configuring robot locations and testing communication with peripheral devices.
- Assessing required labware for each project and testing with the robot and equipment.
- Ensuring the PlateButler installation meets the URS and technical specifications.
- Providing test information feedback to the project leader.
- Preparing the PlateButler system for in-house FAT.
- After installation at the client site, delivering the PlateButler system SAT-ready.
- Providing software training and guidance to internal staff as well as user training for clients on PlateButler software and systems.
- Contributing to the development of system manuals in collaboration with Project Management.
Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on, travel-ready Application Specialist with a high degree of independence and responsibility. Experience in software installation and testing is essential, along with a solid software background. A technical background, especially related to laboratory equipment, is a plus.
- You have a degree at the HBO level.
- You are enthusiastic, confident, and persuasive.
- You are capable of working independently but also as part of a team.
- You are highly motivated to deliver a top-quality end product.
- You thrive in a growing and dynamic team environment.
- You possess a category B driver’s license. What we offer
