Job description
The Paid Social Vice President holds responsibility for the growth, management, retention, and satisfaction of a portfolio of key accounts. The ideal candidate will lead clients strategically and tactically in social marketing. The Vice President will also provide engagement leadership, develop senior level client relationships, and will be regarded by clients as an expert and trusted advisor. Proven account management experience in an agency environment is essential in this role.
Product
- Overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities within their group. They will oversee the progress of all projects and provide assistance, where necessary, to assure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure projects are produced completely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Set strategic principles for client social initiatives based on objectives
- Develop action plans for achieving and measuring campaign success including determining key metrics and processes for measurement and optimization
- Evaluate and recommend full spectrum of social alliances, including all appropriate partners, social platforms, bid and campaign management tools
- Work with strategic planning, digital planning and outside ad agencies to ensure paid social complements all client marketing activity
- Keep clients and agency counterparts informed on latest developments in the industry
- Grow agency paid social business through new business wins and organic client growth
- Involved in client and inter-agency education of paid social and will be responsible for developing intellectual capital, including best practices, case studies, and official agency points-of-view.

Clients
- Serve as the senior point of contact for assigned brands, and must be able to provide effective long-term strategic counsel
- Master, identify, and communicate trends in paid social and in client industries
- Be familiar with all Spark Foundry/Publicis paid social initiatives and be able to introduce other client experiences with similar goals and targets to existing or potential partners
- Establish appropriate account staffing, scope of services, and fee proposals
Requirements
- 10+ years of paid social experience in an agency environment
- Several years of demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Experience using multiple social marketing platforms, bidding technology, and/or publisher side self-serve platforms
- Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of success in the media/marketing services profession
- Ability to lead new business development process, demonstrated ability to win new clients
- Ability to build and strengthen client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience analyzing the financial implications of strategic recommendations and the effect on the company
