Job description
- The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support RapidScale’s managed services and internal operations.
- This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to enhance workflows, automate processes, and improve overall service experience for enterprise customers.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop scalable solutions within the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, and related modules.
- Configure workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, and integrations to support service delivery and internal operations.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems such as monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and CMDB sources.
- Support CMDB design, data integrity, and service mapping initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and release management.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for ServiceNow-related issues.
Requirements
Target years of experience: 5 - 6+yrs What are your top 3-5 MUST HAVEs OR REQUIRED skillset:
- Strong experience with ITSM/CSM & SPM and exposure to ITOM, CMDB, or Service Catalog
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, and integrations
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware) and how they integrate with ITSM workflows
- Experience working in a managed services, MSP, or enterprise IT environment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, * 3 to 6+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong experience with ITSM and exposure to ITOM, CMDB, or Service Catalog.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, and integrations.
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware) and how they integrate with ITSM workflows.
- Experience working in a managed services, MSP, or enterprise IT environment preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer.
- Experience with service mapping and discovery.
