Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that powers our data centers. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation, reliability, and security of network systems and hardware. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the seamless delivery of data services. Install and troubleshoot Fiber and copper cabling.

Support hardware installations and data center infrastructure.

Maintain accurate documentation of network paths and circuits.

Follow all safety guidelines while working onsite.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in data center operations or structured cabling.

Experience with Fiber optic and copper cabling.

Familiarity with cabling hand tools and testing equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

OTDR/PMLS testing

Fusion or Mechanical Splicing

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs (move up to 75 lbs).

Comfortable working in active data center environments, including ladders and confined spaces.

Benefits & conditions

$23 - $25 an hour - Contract
