Job description

We are seeking a skilled Laptop/PC/Computer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of computer hardware and related equipment. Duties

  • Diagnose and repair hardware faults in laptops, desktops, and other computer equipment.

  • Use hand tools and schematics to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment accurately.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer networking systems to ensure connectivity and security.
  • Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues related to hardware or network failures.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
  • Assist with the setup of new equipment and perform testing to verify proper operation.
  • Provide technical support to users regarding hardware issues and general maintenance procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to computer hardware components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for disassembly and assembly tasks.
  • Extensive understanding of computer hardware components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, storage devices, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Experience in computer repair and maintenance tasks across various systems.
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles including LAN/WAN configurations and security protocols.
  • Skills in equipment repair with an emphasis on reliability and precision.
  • Ability to diagnose complex issues swiftly and implement effective solutions efficiently.
