Job description

  • Develop detailed designs and specifications for conveyor systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Autocad
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues within existing systems and propose effective solutions.
  • Produce models/drawings to meet customer requirements, while adhering to any relevant standards.
  • Producing any manuals or documentation required.
  • Obtaining quotes and ordering of all required parts needed within required time scales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Support the realisation of projects from concept through prototyping to final implementation, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality conveyor systems and products. Strong attention to precision and efficiency utilising CAD software and engineering principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in Design to develop their skills within a dynamic environment., * Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and CAD drafting techniques at least 4 years experience.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, system design.
  • Ability to capture and specify the design requirements.
  • Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively within conveyor systems.
  • Conveyor knowledge relevant to product development or industrial applications is highly desirable.
  • Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
  • Improve existing products and processes.
  • Driving Licence.

  • Good time keeping
