Job description
The Product Support Technician will be responsible for diagnosing customer reports and reading logs to determine fault cause, before escalating to Software Engineers to resolve. It will also involve supporting the Development and Technical Teams to develop, test and deploy new features in our system software., * Log analysis, diagnosis, and escalation
- Testing software and hardware systems, finding solutions and liaising with relevant teams to resolve issues
- Technical development
- Research and product development
- Working with Technical Teams on testing and introduction of new peripherals and components
- Shell support, development testing and deployment
- Creating support documentation
Requirements
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills together with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights., * Attention to detail with the ability to analyse information·
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- A ‘can do’ attitude and confident in multitasking
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines
- GCSE level Maths and English
- General computer skills
Preferred Skills:
- A knowledge of Blueprint Machines
- Experience of a fast-paced B2B organisation, being able to work under the pressure that that brings
Whilst full training will be given, a general understanding in gaming machines would be advantageous.
