Job description
Seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop support in a mixed Windows and macOS environment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, OS imaging and deployment, IT asset management (including equipment check-in/check-out), supporting Zoom/conference room A/V technologies, and delivering excellent end-user support to faculty and staff.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of Desktop Support / Help Desk experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows & macOS
- OS imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
- IT asset management and ITSM/ticketing systems
- Zoom/A/V and conference room support
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work 100% onsite in San Diego, * High school or equivalent (Required), * Desktop support: 1 year (Required)
- A/V Support: 1 year (Required)
- macOS: 1 year (Required)
- IT Asset Management: 1 year (Required)
