Senior Java Full Stack Developer

• Design and develop user-friendly web applications using Angular and Java.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Implement microservices architecture to enhance application scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve application usability and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and security.

Work Model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward, providing flexibility wherever possible. This role requires 3 days per week onsite at a client or Cognizant office in Jacksonville, FL or Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with at least 7+ years of experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team, collaborating with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers to deliver innovative solutions., * Minimum of 7+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5+ years working as a Java Full Stack Developer or in a comparable role.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture and development practices.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Understanding of database technologies like SQL and NoSQL.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
