Scrum Master

Third-party (C2C) arrangements are not accepted., We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master who will be responsible for leading multiple agile projects and teams, ensuring effective implementation of Scrum practices. In addition to Scrum responsibilities, the individual will serve as the JIRA Administrator, responsible for creating and maintaining JIRA boards, workflows, filters, dashboards, and reporting tools to support project needs. Must have good knowledge of SAFe agile framework., Scrum Master Duties:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Support multiple Scrum teams across various projects simultaneously.
• Remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.
• Ensure that the teams adhere to Agile principles and best practices.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum concepts, values, and practices.
• Monitor team progress using velocity and other Agile metrics.

JIRA Administration Duties:

• Administer JIRA projects, including setup, customization, and maintenance of boards, workflows, fields, and permissions.
• Create and manage JIRA dashboards and reports tailored to project and team needs.
• Support teams in utilizing JIRA effectively for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting.
• Develop and implement JIRA automation rules to streamline team workflows.
• Ensure JIRA data integrity and manage regular clean-up and optimization.
• Provide training and support to users on JIRA functionalities and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II) required.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Scrum Master supporting multiple teams/projects.
• Strong experience with JIRA (Admin level) JIRA project setup, workflows, dashboards, filters, automation.
• Must have knowledge of Lean principles and have done process documentation.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Confluence integration.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like JIRA Advanced Roadmaps, eazyBI, etc.
• GIS Background

Compensation: Compensation will depend on experience, with a range of $110,000 - $125,000 for full-time, plus benefits including participation in health insurance, vision, and dental benefits; 401K retirement plan; and paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
