Backend Developer

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled and versatile Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain the core server-side logic of our applications. In this role, you will act as a generalist backend engineer, focusing on creating high-performance microservices, optimizing database performance, and ensuring seamless data flow. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into robust, production-ready code., * Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs.

• Build high-performance, scalable microservices and define efficient communication protocols.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency.
• Identify system bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure the high availability of core services.
• Partner alongside frontend developers, product managers, and other engineering stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience developing with Go (Golang) and Node.js to be considered for this role., * 5+ years of experience professionally developing with Go (Golang) and Node.js.

• Strong experience building high-performance microservices and defining efficient RPC protocols using gRPC.
• Proven experience working with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization using PostgreSQL.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
