Dispatcher / Operations Manager - DSP

We’re hiring an experienced Dispatcher / Operations Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our delivery operation. You’ll be the central point of communication between drivers, Amazon dispatch, and ownership - responsible for launching routes on time, managing driver performance in real time, and driving our key Amazon scorecard metrics.

This role is hands-on, high-energy, and ideal for someone who thrives in a logistics environment and knows how to lead from the front.

What You’ll Do

• Run the daily launch: stage routes, conduct stand-up, deliver safety messages, and dispatch all drivers on time
• Monitor live route progress through Amazon tools (Cortex, Mentor, Netradyne) and proactively address delays, missing packages, and on-road issues
• Coordinate rescues, package transfers, and route adjustments to protect on-time delivery
• Coach drivers in real time on safety behaviors, delivery quality, and customer obsession
• Own performance against Amazon’s scorecard: DCR, DAR, POD, DNRs, Mentor/FICO, and safe driving metrics
• Conduct return-to-station debriefs, document incidents, and complete daily reporting
• Partner with the owner and Amazon BOC on action plans for underperforming drivers and recurring issues
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of new Delivery Associates
• Enforce DOT, OSHA, and Amazon safety standards, including DVIC compliance and accident reporting

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Required:

• 2+ years of dispatch, operations, logistics, or fleet management experience
• Strong working knowledge of Amazon DSP operations, scorecard metrics, and tools (or comparable last-mile experience)
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team of 20+ frontline associates
• Excellent communication skills - calm under pressure, clear on the radio, professional in writing
• Comfortable working in a Windows/Excel/Gmail environment and learning new logistics platforms quickly
• Available for early mornings, weekends, and peak season (November-January)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a DSP Dispatcher, Operations Manager, Fleet Manager, or Amazon BOC
• Background in warehouse, distribution, transportation, or last-mile delivery
• Experience using Mentor, Cortex, Netradyne, Flex, or similar dispatch/telematics tools
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
