Job description

Da-Com Corporation is seeking a Managed IT Help Desk Specialist to provide remote technical support for our Multifunction Printer (MFP) clients and serve as Level 1 Helpdesk support for our Managed IT Services clients. This is a dual-function role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solving technical problems, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment., MFP Remote Support

  • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for multifunction printers/copiers (network connectivity, print drivers, scanning, faxing, error codes, etc.)
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues and determine whether remote resolution is possible or an on-site technician dispatch is required
  • Guide customers through basic maintenance and configuration steps over the phone or remote session
  • Document all support interactions accurately in the ticketing system

Level 1 Helpdesk (Managed IT Clients)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Managed IT client support requests via phone, email, or ticketing portal
  • Triage, log, and resolve common IT issues (password resets, connectivity, printer/network issues, basic application support, etc.)
  • Escalate more complex issues to support engineers with clear documentation
  • Follow established procedures and SLAs to ensure timely response and resolution
  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-first attitude on every interaction

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a patient troubleshooter, and comfortable supporting both hardware (printers/copiers) and general IT issues (workstations, network connectivity, basic software support)., * Experience in a technical support, help desk, or customer service role

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPN basics)
  • Familiarity with Windows OS & Mac OS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced support environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and a calm, patient demeanor when troubleshooting, * Experience supporting copiers/MFPs
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
