IT Asset Management Specialist

Required Certification:

• CompTIA Network+ or similar certification

Roles And Responsibilities:

• The IT Asset Management Specialist supports end-to-end lifecycle management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and leased equipment.
• This role maintains accurate asset records, performs inventory reconciliations, and supports audit readiness under the direction of the IT Asset Management Lead., * Support asset intake, tagging, labeling, deployment, and assignment to users or locations
• Maintain accurate asset records with required attributes (serial number, model, location, user, status)
• Perform regular inventory validation activities and physical inventories
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Track software usage, renewals, and true-ups for license compliance
• Manage leased assets and MFD (printer/scanner) inventory records
• Coordinate MFD service requests, maintenance, and relocations with vendors

• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of IT experience in IT asset lifecycle management processes or related IT tasks
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Knowledge of inventory control and physical accountability practices
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, SharePoint and other tools , understanding of computer systems, voice/video systems, and network infrastructure.
