Job description

Amber Boyd Law is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote IT and Office Operations Coordinator to support our Chief Operating Officer and Office Manager.

This position serves as the central point of coordination between our internal team, software providers, technical support teams, developers, and outside vendors. You will help track technology issues, coordinate follow-ups, document processes, and ensure that the firm’s systems continue to support efficient daily operations.

This is not a software development or advanced technical support position. It is an operations-focused coordination role for someone who understands technology, communicates clearly, follows through consistently, and enjoys bringing structure to complex projects.

The right person will be comfortable working with attorneys, administrative professionals, software vendors, developers, and technical support teams in a fully remote professional environment.

What You Will Do

As our Remote IT and Office Operations Coordinator, you will help manage technology-related requests and operational projects from identification through resolution.

  • Google Workspace
  • Zoom Business

  • Adobe
  • Loom
  • Online payment platforms
  • Help desk and issue-tracking systems
  • Remote communication and collaboration tools

Experience with every platform is not required. However, you must be comfortable learning new software, troubleshooting basic issues, coordinating with technical support, and documenting solutions clearly.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is naturally organized, detail-oriented, and persistent about follow-up. You do not allow requests, vendor communications, or unresolved issues to disappear into an inbox.

You should be someone who:

  • Enjoys organizing information and improving systems
  • Can manage several projects and open issues simultaneously
  • Communicates professionally with both technical and nontechnical professionals
  • Takes ownership of follow-ups and keeps projects moving forward
  • Can translate technical updates into clear information for leadership and staff
  • Notices patterns, identifies inefficiencies, and recommends practical improvements
  • Works independently without losing attention to deadlines or details
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in a law firm
  • Is comfortable working remotely and staying responsive throughout the workday

What Success Looks Like:

You will be successful in this role when:

  • IT and software issues are consistently documented and followed through to resolution
  • Leadership receives clear and reliable updates on open projects and system problems
  • Vendor and developer communications are organized and productive
  • Employees know where to report technology issues and receive timely follow-up
  • Standard operating procedures remain accurate and accessible
  • Recurring problems are identified and addressed
  • Technology projects continue moving forward without important details being missed

Why Join Amber Boyd Law?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important operational function within a growing law firm. You will work closely with leadership, contribute to meaningful process improvements, and help create systems that allow the entire team to work more efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, organizing complex information, improving workflows, and becoming the dependable person who keeps projects and systems on track., * Track IT issues, software problems, support requests, and outstanding action items
