Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS Application DBA) 2+Roles Hiring Now in Lincolnshire

We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS Application DBA) to support enterprise Oracle platforms and mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c RAC, Oracle WebLogic, and Linux/Unix Administration.

This role involves database administration, application support, system performance optimization, platform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x

• Manage Oracle Database 19c RAC environments on Linux/Unix

• Install, configure, patch, clone, and upgrade Oracle databases and EBS applications

• Perform database backup, recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

• Administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments

• Monitor database health, security, availability, and system performance

• Support database migrations and cloud deployments

• Develop automation scripts using Shell Scripting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience

• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c RAC

• Oracle WebLogic Administration

• Linux/Unix System Administration

• Shell Scripting

• Database Performance Tuning

• RMAN Backup & Recovery

• Oracle Database Installation & Configuration

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
