Programmer Consultant

The Programmer - Consultant will provide expert programming services to support state projects, working primarily in a hybrid environment with some onsite requirements. This role involves collaboration with management to deliver technical solutions while adhering to strict security and residency requirements. Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding processes.
• Comply with all security screenings and background checks before and during employment.
• Work onsite as required by the manager based on project needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Proven programming experience in a non-managerial role.
• Successful completion of a 7-year Standard Background Check and Credit History Check.
• 7-Year Certified Driving Record (MVR).
• Completion of E-Verify process.
• Ability to pass CJIS security screening after onboarding.
• Current residency in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia with willingness to relocate to South Carolina at own expense prior to start date.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working within government or state agency projects.
• Familiarity with hybrid work environments and virtual collaboration tools.

• Must pass multiple security screenings including background, credit, driving record, and CJIS checks.
• Residency requirement with relocation to South Carolina prior to start date.
• Work location and onsite presence subject to manager’s discretion based on project needs.

Scheduling:

• Full-time position with a 40-hour work week.
• Hybrid work schedule with potential onsite days as determined by management.
• Contract duration is 12 months with possibility for extension.
